How to Clean Fabric
Spun Polyester Fabric is a solution dyed then woven fabric that resists stains, mildew, fading and abrasions. It ensures durability and clean-ability for the fabric to best longevity. To Clean your Cushion covers:
- Wash with warm water and mild detergent
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Avoid contact with suntan oils and lotions and clean promptly if contact occurs.
- Cushions will typically require 1-3 days inair to completely dry (humidity and other weather conditions can extend this time period).
*Properly drying your cushions is essential for the longevity of the foam.
*To preserve and protect your cushions, we recommend storing them in a dry place when it rains or snows.
*Solution dyed: the color is put in before the yarn is formed, so the color can withstand fading and washing.
How to Clean Wicker
DIMAR GARDEN’s patio furniture is handwoven from 100% high-density polyethylene wicker. PE Wicker has antimicrobial properties that inhibit fungus and mildew growth, however, to preserve and lengthen the life of your set even the wicker should be cleaned periodically, approximately twice a year, and this is how you should do it:
- Remove all cushions.
- Use clean water from bucketsor water hose to completely wash down furniture.
- Mix together a cleaning solution using a mild soap.
- Using a soft brush or sponge, gently clean the wicker. Try to get into the cracks between the weaves, as it helps immensely in loosening up dirt and
- Once you are done, wash it down againuntil all cleaning residue is gone.
- Let the patio set air dry.
- Put Cushions back and enjoy outdoor life
Guidance for Winter
Your DIMAR GARDEN Furniture set is designed to withstand different weather conditions and climates.
However, extreme winter conditions can affect the lifetime of your set, and thus we recommend protecting your furniture by either storing it in your garage, basement if possible. In the event that you cannot store your furniture in an enclosed space during extreme winter conditions, we recommend you store the cushions indoors, and use a high quality outdoor furniture cover to protect the frames.
